Hello All,

Welcome to the Canicross Trailrunners Blog Site.

This blog is intended to keep you updated with not just what the Canicross Trailrunners are up to but also to what else is going on in the Canine world.
But first a little history to the Lamen pack.
I became a dog owner 11 years ago, a short while after getting married to Cushla, we moved to Germany with my job in the Army, I took Cushla away from her favourite sport of Rowing and she wanted to keep up her fitness with another sport and that became running. But due to my job and my frequent work vacations to other foreign countries, Cush decided that she wanted a running partner and what better partner than a dog.

After researching breeds we found that Huskies are born runners and would be ideal for us. Many months passed until we found a puppy that was right for us and then we found Sashka. Sashka is now 11+years and mellowing in her years.
A year or so later and once we had raised money for the campaign for Pet Passports and the court case was successful, we added a rescue husky from Spain to our pack. Donjak was approx 2 years old when we got him and he has unfortunately recently passed away after a long 8 year battle against epilepsey.
Takoda joined us from Wales 3 years ago and this boy is also known as Kriserliz Satans Angel, don't know if he is more related to satan or the angels.
Lastly our new addition to the pack is Rajarani Tarevachine, or shanay for short, this girl is running our lives at the moment and at 6 months old is running round the house at all times.
